By car

Coming from the North (Milano, Bologna)

Take the A1 motorway, direction Florence, exit at Barberino di Mugello and follow the signs for Barberino di Mugello e Borgo S. Lorenzo.
Drive past lake Bilancino and the Villa Medici in Cafaggiolo, at the roundabout follow the sign indicating Via Faentina (S.R. 302) and you will find a gallery. Drive through the gallery until the end of the road. Turn right into Via Faentina (S.R. 302) heading towards Firenze (Florence). After ca. 18 km you will reach ‘Pian di Mugnone'. Drive on until you reach the end of the village and turn right at the red gate after the last house on the right.

 

Coming from the West (A11, Genoa, Pisa) and from the centre of Florence

Follow the signs to the city Stadium (Stadio) and drive through the overpass crossing the railways in Piazza delle Cure, turn let and follow the directions to Via Faentina (S.R. 302) and Borgo San Lorenzo. Keep driving on the via Faentina until you enter the town of Fiesole and pass Ponte alla Badia. After 2 km you will find the village Pian di Mugnone, turn left at the red gate in front of the crossroad leading to Fiesole.

 

Coming from the South (Roma)

Take the A1 motorway, exit at Firenze Sud and follow the indications to Fiesole. Once you reach the main square of the town (Piazza Mino da Fiesole), turn left at the roundabout and pass the cathedral (via Dupré) following the indications to Caldine. Once you reach the end of the road, turn left at the crossroad with Via Faentina and turn right immediately at the red gate after 5 meters.

If you are using GPS navigation: many navigation systems will have you drive through narrow and winding roads: we strongly recommend that you follow the directions above!

From Firenze Santa Maria Novella, take the regional train to Borgo S. Lorenzo that stops at Pian di Mugnone/Fiesole.
Pian di Mugnone train station is 300 m away from the entrance of our farm holiday house. 

 

By bus (ATAF: http://www.ataf.net)

Our holiday house can be reached also by bus from the Santa Maria Novella bus terminal.
Take bus nr. 1 and get off at the stop “Via Madonna delle Querce”, take bus 21 and get off at the stop "Faentina 17", then cross the road and walk 50 meters until you reach the red gate.

From Firenze A. Vespucci – Peretola airport (http://www.aeroporto.firenze.it/it)

From Firenze Peretola airport take a taxi (055-4242 - www.socota.it) or the "Volainbus" bus and get off at Florence railway station. Then follow the directions given above.
