The farm-holiday house Il Grattacapo is located in the northern part of the Parco delle Colline Fiorentine (Florentine Hills Park), in the area between via Faentina and via Bolognese, only 5 km away from the historical centre of Florence.

Surrounded by olive trees and the outskirts of the wood, our receptive structure la Baita is located on a small ridge and is a small cabin-like house, recently refurbished to host up to 4 adults in a single detached house isolated form the nearby village of Pian di Mugnone.

Fully equipped as a real country home, the house is ready to use for guests wishing to enjoy relaxing and peaceful days in the green countryside just outside Florence, but close enough to turn a curious eye to the beauties of the city.

As you can see from the pictures, la Baita is a simple and functional building: on the ground floor there's a kitchen with living room and fireplace and a reading corner. The kitchen is equipped with washing machine, oven, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, table and kitchenware and garbage bins for the separate waste collection. On the ground floor there are also a laundry corner and an easy access bathroom for disabled people.

On the first floor you will find a fully equipped bathroom (toilet, bidet, shower, sink) with hairdryer and a towel warmer next to the shower, a bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and the additional beds (2 single beds, an additional children bed under 12 years old, a children bed with side rails for kids under 3 years old,), internet connection and air conditioning. 

The front yard is at your full disposal both as a parking area and as a place to eat and relax in the open air.
